The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA status sassa services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The company issue designed for intervention encounters a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes read more it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
